歸家之旅

天陰，不想出門，閒在家中，有始有終，想把Falling upward看完，之後開第二本書。

Richard Rohr用文學思考信仰，又再一次談到The Odyssesy，這幾年對Homeland的思考確實深刻很多，從某個很具體能腳踏實地的方寸，到摸不著邊際的心靈歸屬。紮根有時、拔出有時，為著承受家園這份禮物，阿伯拉罕必須先離開本地本家。你們要去，才能歸來。

Falling upward的其中一段文字：「Ithaca has now given you the beautiful voyage. Without her, you would never have taken the road, With the great wisdom you have gained on your voyage, With so much of your own experience now, You must finally know what Ithaca really means. 」（頁96）

每一個人心裡都有自己的Ithaca，那是我們啟程的理由，亦是要回去的地方，每一段旅程，都在豐富「家鄉」的意義。

Richard Rohr之後引用William Wordsworth的Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood：「The Soul that rises with us, our Life's Star Hath had elsewhere its setting, And cometh from afar: Not in entire forgetfulness. And not in utter nakedness, But trailing clouds of glory do we come From God, who is our home: Heaven lies about us in our infancy! Shades of the prison-house begin to close upon the growing boy, But he beholds the light, and whence it flows, He sees it in his joy.」

這一段人生旅程，都在豐富我們離去之後、那段新生的意義。只不過，太多人遺忘了我們真正的家鄉。下一本讀什麼好？
