培苗步驟

星期六上園藝課，老師示範培苗方法，要我們做文字記錄，今早完成功課。高興能溫故知新，播種後將苗盆放到水盆中吸水，後然拿出來蓋上保鮮膜，觀察水氣凝固，這些都是我以前沒有做的。步驟如下：

1. Carefully read the information on the seed packet.
2. Mix peat-free compost with white granular material to improve aeration and to prevent the soil from compacting. I am not sure what are they. Are they Vermiculite and perlite?
3. Make a shallow trench using a cane.
4. Sow the seeds directly into the drill (use a seed dispenser if the seeds are very tiny)
5. Cover the seeds with compost.
6. Place the seed bed into a reservoir to absorb water.
7. Take the seed bed out and prevent temperature variation.
8. Cover the seed bed with cling film.
9. Monitor condensation and water if needed.
